Glad to say that Italian rock is not dead, and beside all the historical and political facts , I’m celebrating Italian Music along with the italian week.

So, by many interviews, the band say that they always make their own choices, this video is not an ecception: the idea, the choice of directors was their.
Graphically this is not innovating at all, though we find it unusual (I love it, actually) the many contraddiction and the visual nonsense of the video.

We have action figures gradually melting down, spitting fire or basically doing nothing, scenes of the singer in a well-off context singing this song (which has very polemic lyrics), and during the video we have continuous sentences that seems like sentences from a mother bragging about her child and slowly moving to a mother’s critic to her son. Very curious actually.

Let’s talk about the direction: Noi Fuori was directed by Jacopo Farina e Marco Proserpio who are the italian disciples of Sterven Jonger, who set the whole direction from abroad and let Jacopo and Marco shoot the whole video, successfully.
The scenes were shot with the audio speeded up and then slowed in order to reach the actual velocity of the song.
I have to point out the chromatic choice of the video, kinda opposing to the strength of the lyrics.

Again, the technique is not a big deal, but I think it’s to award the idea behind it: every designer knows that having a great idea is as difficult as realizing it.

You can see a little piece of the making of here .
Enjoy
