Good morning babes! From a yawn to another, you landed here to start your glorious Sunday, finally! And it’s a pleasure for me to welcome you with another great video from our old friends Ministri.

Comunque is the new single from their upcoming album Per un passato migliore (in English could be something like “For a better past”), which will heat us from 12th March on. Once again they sing the disillusionment of our generation, and translate it into fuckin’ genuine rock music. We already talked about them in Noi fuori, do you remember? Same rage, same dust, same bitter tongue.

And same directors. Marco Proserpio and Jacopo Farina for Sterven Jonger worked on this video, and you will notice there’s something recurrent. These guys must hate junk stuff. These trash, plastic, fake random trinkets could be a metaphor of the reality we live in, which crushes us and –no way– they hate it. And always destroy it, better with flames.

But this time you won’t find the clear and still eye of Noi fuori: the sight is disturbed, altered, never steady. But what makes this clip unique is that has been shot with four amatorial VHS camcorders. Do you remember that black strange machinery that your uncle used for your recitation filmstrip? Yes, that one. Marco and Jacopo took it directly from the 90s and used all its special effects: negative, sepia, pixel and watercolor. The result is a distort, noisy image, which gives you back the core of this song.

That’s why you’ll enjoy this fresh, super old school video.
