Mult-talented producer/songwriter will.i.am makes his solo debut as a director with his latest video for his new single “This Is Love,” featuring Dutch born singer-songwriter Eva Simons (best known for her 2009 song ”Silly Boy”). The track was co-produced by will.i.am, Swedish House Mafia’s Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso.

The music video was shot in London, with part of it shot at Potter’s Fields on the South Bank of the Thames near Tower Bridge, in mid-May. It was released via VEVO (Youtube) on May 25, 2012.

The music video starts with will.i.am playing a Grand Piano on the grass on the south bank of the Thames near Tower Bridge, engraved with the brand new will.i.am logo. The technique is really interesting, but not so innovative: in the Ministri‘s video Fuori, (and in this one), the scenes were shot with the audio speeded up and then slowed in order to reach the actual velocity of the song. They sang the song very quickly, but the result, in this case, is not a really good synchronization as the Ministri’s one.

You made a good job, Will, but we hope you can do better in the future!
