From the latest album of The Maccabees appears to us the theme Went Away.
“Just look at you in the trolley line
Wild eyed you’re still flying
A little less and a little more
In the middle ground you’re still miles away”
This song is described as “pure, unadulterated adrenaline – the kind of song that come its three-and-a-half minutes close simultaneously makes you think you could run a marathon just as easily as bursting into tears.”
The video was directed by Phil Sansom, known for his work in the music video of Robbie Williams – Only You Know Me, nominated for Best Pop Video & Best Art Direction UK MVAs 2010, and produced by Gareth Thomas.
This video has very beautiful images and colors. Is characterized by the overlapping of images of the band during a concert in a lovely hall, by the background that is a city in perpetual motion, and by the masks used in after effects, in particular the rectangle that makes this video so unique and takes a key role on the main screen.
