Hi bunnies, it’s defenitely spring and we want to share with you this blooming video by Ace Reporter, directly from their new album Yearling.

We’ve already met Elliott Sellers, the director, in Crystal Fighters‘ video Separator, remember?
Untouched and arrived perfectly translates a soft pop song into light images. Elliott Sellers seems to be in love with this kind of atmospheres, where childhood meets a warm nature and a deligtful dream begins. In the late afternoon light, a child makes some origami, giving birth, fold by fold, to a lots of birds. The whole video is focused on the flight theme, and the way childhood imagination can transform a simple piece of paper into reality.

Except for some rewind effect, the video is a relatively common motion picture. But, what I found great, is the chromatic choice. Warm colours, warm light, nice opposition of lights and shadows, makes this video evocative and –how can I tell you?– rounded. It reminds me of the atmosphere of Summertime: “Summertime and the living is easy, fish are jumping and the cotton is high…”
