The last year, on the 18th of October, William Jr. was filming in Los Angeles for this video. Probably we better say he was doing something more than a simple shooting. The video is quite spectacular and it brings the artist some little trouble, in fact he hurt himself 6 days later and the video release was delayed. We don’t know exactly what has happened, but we can say: “Grasp all, lose all”.

The director of this complicated work is Rich Lee, and the mean techniques used are 3D animation and, evidently, greenscreen. First we see Will while he is running throughout a sort of obstacle course, and then riding different vehicles, from a beautiful minimalistic white bike to a space ship, with an interesting use of transitions. Now you understand how he enlarged his… ego with the use of video editing techniques? Probably yes.

Another interesting aspect of the video is the partnership with two external artists, who both posted on twitter about the video release: Jennifer Lopez, doing what she’s good at (shaking) and Mick Jagger, represented in a foolish hologram.

Making works like that, are good habits in the music production world and we hope to see other brillant productions as soon as possible.
