First of all, I, red_circle, have the honour to introduce you to what will happen here on Wanna Play Daily this week.

Our staff is based mostly in Italy, and in this country the 25th of April is a very important day. On April 25th 1945 Italy was finally free from Nazi-Fascism thanks to the great effort and sacrifice of italian patriots (the Partigiani). It’s a day of big celebration in Italy.

So we decided to celebrate, in our little way, our beloved nation, too!

How, you ask?

We’ll propose you every day an amazing videoclip completely В© Made in Italy!

The first one we present you is CaГ±os, by Verdena.

It’s a single from their 2007 album Requiem. Verdena are, for sure, one of the hottest and most talented bands in Italy. And, as famous rockstars often do, they like to have strange videoclips for their strange, creepy, hallucinating, powerful songs.

CaГ±os was directed by Marco Gentile and describes perfectly what Verdena are.

The videoclip is set in a creepy dining room, where two astronauts are having a nice meal. Everything regular, right?

In order to achieve the zero-gravity effect (chosen to set the mood in space, following the lyrics’ style of this song) Marco Gentile shot everything in Slow Motion, doubling the frames per second, in order to be able to slow down some parts.

The videoclip is made for most its parts by filmed material. But in some segments, when close-ups of flying elements are presented, 3D Animation is introduced, to make everything more spectacular.
