Today we present the video Bizness, of tUnE-yArDs.
The New York Times said: “Ms. Garbus has a ferocious voice, somewhere between Aretha Franklin and Yoko Ono. At times it’s a roar, and at times it’s coy, but her ability to modulate it show off a rhythmic and artistic intelligence that echoes Bjork, and even to a degree M.I.A.”. It’s weird, but I feel that we can see it in this video. There is a special force transmitted from it.

The video was directed and produced by Mimi Cave, also responsible for their Country video.
This video is mostly made up of motion picture, but it has some parts made in stop motion.
It’s funny to see how it develops. Moves from one classroom to a forest, imagined by one of the children who are drawing. There is a very strong component imaginative. Group dynamics is also extremely important.
In my opinion this video takes us to the beginnings of colors, representations and species.
About this video Yoko Ono said: “This is amazing. I usually don’t get too much from music videos, but this one I got a lot from. The music video, according to what it is, is going in an amazingly wise direction. No decadence but no commie statue screaming at you to be “good!” either. Very inspiring.”.

This video was shown at various festivals including Official Selection, San Francisco International Film Festival 2012, Winner, Honorable Mention – Children / Family, Marin County Short Film Festival 2012 and Official Selection, Short Film Festival Silhouette, Paris 2011; and was in Paste Magazine – 25 Best Music Videos of 2011, Vimeo’s Top 10 Faves of 2011, Yahoo! – Most Awesome Music Videos of 2011, LA Music Blog – Top Ten Music Videos of 2011, New Musical Express – Top 50 2011.
Quite amazing!
