James Blake – The Wilhelm Scream
|
Its name is “The Wilhelm Scream” and is the new theme of the british poly-sound songmaker James Blake.
This video-clip is virtually non-sense and greatly simplified, featuring Blake who appears in a full profile. His music deformed as is soul, by the nebulous effects and vibrant colors.
This video is free enough, divided between a robotic coolness, and multiple attempts of grasping and connection. The key time lasts approximately two minutes, and it’s like layers if build themselves through the waves pass, in an environment of anxiety, until the viewer almost feels a ranger in the teeth and eyes. Account with multiple image overlays until the end.
We choose this video because it is strange and angelic almost at the same time. There is a purity of the colors and the voice at the beginning, and yet this purity becomes a nervous impulse and unsettling. And of course, for being reminiscent of the stream of Blake’s room-made videos during the last few years, but with a higher value of production. |
