“You don’t love me, just the kissing
Don’t trust the facts, trust the fiction”

This theme of The Walkmen – “The Love You Love” is a beautiful song with a slightly strange video clip.
It was filmed in an old house, supposedly haunted, in Philadelphia and the main character is a boy, performed by the son of the guitarist. This little boy with almost magical powers, plays with the gravity of the objects around him. Between these objects we can see dishes and lucky cats, which are scary!

Note that this black and white video was made by Sean Pecknold and could not have a very different language from that used, since this director, animator and visual artist likes to use the mystical and surreal imagery in his work.

I really like the initial part of the video and the part where the vocalist appears on the TV with sparks behind.
