Yoshi Sodeoka is an artist and electronic musician who like to experiment in the field of psychedelic arts. He uses video synthesizers, feedback and effects to create colourflul landscapes that fit perfectly to electronic music.
Riot’s and young girls’ images are mixed with baby dragons and abstract figures in a rough way, like they were selected with Photoshop’s magic wand. Bitmaps’ pixels are huge. All these elements, that are usually hidden carefully by video editors, are placed in foreground. Sodeoka highlights the process and the tools he used to generate the images.
In addition there is nothing like a story or a script, it’s like seeing the stream of consciousness of someone who took an acid and started playing Puzzle Bobble. We could say it’s the psychedelic version of last week’s video by Jason Goldwatch, if you liked that, you have to see this.
