So soon we’re too old to carry

Pelican is a song by the English indie rock band The Maccabees released on 30 December 2011 as the lead single from the band’s third studio album, Given to the Wild (2012). The video was directed by David Wilson (He also directed this, this, and this).

Have you ever asked yourself if your point of view can really show how the world is made? David did, and as you can see in this wonderful video, he sliced many things with the purpose of exploring their being. The whole video becomes a journey in outer space, between and inside the most iconic objects in the human life.
What are the thoughts of these kids? From the breast feeding to the first sexual experience, we can see a carousel of metaphors of feelings. So damn cool.
David used special lenses for filming, and if you’re asking yourself how is this video made, take a look here, where you can find the beautiful making of.

One thing’s for sure, we’re all getting older.
