Today we present the videoclip of Breath me, one of the most popular themes of australian singer Sia, directed for Daniel Askill.

As many of the directors who have passed here Daniel Askill is also filmmaker and artist. His work was considered “visually stunning” by The New York Times, and we agree! His name had been mentioned in the video clip of Digitalism – Pogo, however, this work takes a different approach.
This video is essentially a stopmotion, and tells a story carried out by the singer, through polaroids. Is a touching work.

About this song, Sia said: “‘Breathe Me’ is about feeling worried, generally anxious. Being overwhelmed by your own inner dialogue and having some sort of conniption fit and potentially doing yourself some harm, then asking for help.”.
This theme was also used in the last episode of Six Feet Under and followed the characters to their final destiny – life or death.
