This video actaully blew my mind away at the first sight, in 4 minutes of video I’ve been close to understand what was happening about 5 times and each of them I really didn’t.

These guys from Studio Funf must’ve been on some kind of acid to bring to life cartoon this dreamy scenario of beauty found in urban decay, where adventures of our unkempt protagonist develop in extreme and surreal situations that recall the 60′s loathing in suburbs.

Studio Fünf, French graphic designers exiled to Berlin, come together with Rone, a rising electro artist in more than one occasion, this video is just the tip of a collaboration iceberg that sees the light in every underground music festival where Rone plays and Studio Funf animates.

Diving in techniques, this video is practically most of all hand-made, the animation seems hand-sketched, and basically all black and white with some splash of colours, and collages to decorate the whole thing.

If you ask me, it is really hard to bear a 4 minute video like that, it’s raw but it does not fit the music genre, or maybe I’m just in hang-over, again.
