Here we are, the video i’m going to introduce today can be considerated related to glitch art in some ways… It is realized with editing and compositing effects very diffused nowdays, but it is an interesing mix of them, and it is based essentially on datamoshing, a video glitch due to video compression and codec problems.

The video has been realized by about:blank a VJ and graphic designer based in Brussels, he used graphic elements coming from other applications, as  some Max msp’s applications used by VJs. All the material has then been processed with After Effects to give it an even more future-look using many effects and some plug-ins like Plexus or others for  the structures, but I have to say that in some points to me it seemed too much adulterated. In a larger vision, I can say that it is still a good work to be seen, in particular for the usage of datamoshing.

Also the music is quite interesting dubstep, and the video is well arranged to it.
