A journey.

A magic one.

There will be always one thing you don’t want to be missing in your journey: it is neither the fear of accidents nor the bad weather, it is neither the awful meal nor the fast passing of the time: what you really want is to find something that will surprise you, fascinate you, something that will impress in your mind the journey and make it so far away from your everyday life: a magical touch.

There is that magical touch in the brand new videoclip from Planet Funk for their song ‘Ora il mondo è perfetto’ (‘Now the World is perfetc’ in Italian) sung by Negramaro’s frontman Giuliano Sangiorgi.
The videoclip, directed by Francesco Tortorella is a journey through a world full of vivid colors, of lighting shadows, shapeless dreams, like bolts of memories.

For once you cannot see behind the curtain to disclose the magic, but the magic is what is behind the final result. Oh, what you see is full of atmosphere, like a haunting tunnel, but its genesis is something even better.

Those puddle of rainbows, that world created by free association, was made by Loredana Alcino with the technique of Suminagashi, which means “floating ink” in Japanese, one of the oldest method of decorative paper made with floating colors that interact with the surface of the water.
These real effect were photographed and filmed, then overlapped, adjusted and mixed with clips of the band captured with the green screen technology and 3D animation (the cosmos and the movements through the various images).

The result was a mix between analog touch and digital world that gives to the video a big amount of life.
