Finding yourselves into a Club you don’t like, get lost, don’t have a drink to drown your mind in and be bored. Very bored.
I think this situation, that probably everyone has experienced at least once in their life, resemble quite well my feeling on this video. I’m usually an enthusiastic and positive reviewer but I really can’t tell much about this.
After a minute in the video I started to wish the end was close: not a good sign. Don’t get me wrong, I still can see that Justin Meyers is a brilliant visual artist, and from a designer point of view, I can say he did a really good job. But the overall is a bit dull and repetitive, maybe there’s a reason, maybe it’s to visualize the repetitiveness and the boredom of the clubs world. Is it? Maybe not.
Pete Swanson describe himself as a musician in the virtual realm, the song Life Ends At 30″ is featured on his forthcoming four-track EP called Punk Authority, and, here it comes a good thing: the last 30″ of the video are the most interesting.
There’s a positive in every negative.
