Parov Stelar, whose real name is Marcus Füreder, is an Austrian musician, known for his incredible blends of electronic music with music of the 20′s, 30′s and 40′s.
Today we are pleased to present his band: the Parov Stelar Band!
This theme “Jimmy’s Gang” is part of his latest album The Princess. This theme is a mix of jazz, swing and electronic music. A version of brilliant electro/pop.
 
Brilliant are also the illustrations that accompany this theme. To say that they are brilliant is not enough. They are incredible. Wonderful!
The illustrations were done by cartoonist Drushba Pankow, composed of Alexandra Kardinar and Volker Schlecht.
Apparently this work with additional animation by Maxim Vassiliev, began for the track “Nobody’s Fool”, also by Parov Stelar. However, it was only officially used, by the band, in this theme “Jimmy´s Gang”. Drushba Pankow opted to make an alternative version, of the original clip “Nobody’s Fool”, called “Over You“.
 
This is one of those videos that is hard to describe in words because they are not enough to express images and sounds with such potential!
