Seeing this video I’m guessing how could be shaking hands with this guy. May a find anything strange in my palm? Maybe some stolen fingers… It would have been certainly nice, but none of these hypothesis will come true, this is just a stop motion, and my finger would stay at their place! Fortunately.

The director of the video, Steven BrianВ (aka Burayan), has graduated in the Г‰cole nationale supГ©rieure des Arts DГ©coratifs, just like Francis Cutter who made this C2C cool video. The video was directed at Partizan, which seems to be a sort of producer.

The abilities of this young director are clearly shown in this and in other works, just like Frictions, another clip filmed in collaboration with Partizan and which have been Steven’s graduated piece. Both videos are showing the same style: details attention, crossed lights and crossed shadows, minimalistic locations and strong contrasts between characters and backgrounds.

The next step could be to achieve all these effect without the use of video postproduction, I know is not so easy, but neither so impossible.
