Of Monsters and Men – Little Talks

Of the Icelandic sextet – Of Monsters and Men comes to us this theme “Little Talks”. This videoclip was produced by Mihai Wilson (We Were Monkeys), and tells the story of five sailors of the sky that embark on a mystical adventure, when they faced with the fall of a meteorite that contains a magical creature. The whole adventure is intended to take the creature to her world.
The music video is mostly a 2D animation, in black and white. There is a set of overlapping of plans for the depth effect. The sailors break the 2D draw, since their faces are not transmitted by drawing but for video, giving a more real look to the characters. The magical creature is not only presented in the same way, but it is also one of the few touches of color in this video.
