Nero bring us straight into the ’80s. In a perfect Miami Vice style, we get a video faunting the typica pimps’ lifestyle: hotel swimmingpools, luxury cars, pretty chicks and casinГІ. To recreate this “yacht rock” style, the Agency Nexus Production, in particular Johanna Andersson (with a little help from Corbis Motion which recovered from the basement a collection of original footages from ’80s movies or tv series) created this mini faunting-story, which actually looks more like just opening credits. The whole thing was embellished from animation of legs, stars and lips as kaleidoscopes, exploding in the middle of the screen, and bizarre old-fashioned scene transitions. In the background, the song “Reaching Out” is doing his duty setting the tone, with vintage synth and auto-tuned voice, for a perfect soundtrack of this VHS story.
