Let’s face it: I have a crush on Metronomy and it’s not the first time I write on their videos.
In every work for their music they have chosen not to be common and boring but they always gives their listeners and viewers a unique content, both melodically and visually.

Also David Wilson isn’t a new entry for wannaplaydaily, we published Let Go by The Japanese Popstars Feat. Green Velvet in April and now he appeared again during the Summer Heat week; this time it’s not about animation but about motion picture, he plays with the letterbox margins, combining different footage recorded in Torquay, Devon.

White suits and white heels, clear water, palms and popsicle, but the best detail of the video are the little transition, the dynamic of the combination of the framings and the mattes, the composition of the elements in the frames and the camera movements.
The screen splits and the frame is cut-masked with circles synchronized with the music, showing breath-taking views of the seaside city or surreal landscapes with women’s legs.

I could listen and watch this video for hours, my summer is full of addictions and I hope this video will become yours.
