As promised in yesterday’s article, today we have the winner of M83′s video contest for the song “We Own the Sky”. This video is directed by Alex Takacs and Joe Nankin from Young Replicant.

As you can see on their website they make videos with dense, dreamy atmospheres with a massive use of desaturated colours and soft lights. If you have ever seen a picture taken with Instagram you know what I’m talking about.

Don’t misunderstand, this video is very good looking and quality is extremely high, but I think at the same time it is a little bit stereotyped and that’s why I wouldn’t chose it.

That said, if you are deep into hipster culture you’ll love it.
