This is a really cool Matrix style video.Р’В Shot on 35mm film, using a ‘homemade’ camera rig consisting of 625 individual pinhole cameras that are exposed at the same time. The photography is black and white with a soft grain effect.Р’В The rig that director duo Bison invented for this is incredible.

See here the behind the scenes.

London trio London Grammar released their first video for the beautifully morose “Wasting My Young Years.” In the visual, we see bodies floating around, most likely to symbolize in someway floating through life and wasting away their time on this planet to fit with the song theme. It is gorgeously shot in black and white with shakey camera movement. The Wasting My Young Years EP will be out June 16th through Metal & Dust Recordings.

Though the respective styles ofР’В London GrammarР’В andР’В Kids of the ApocalypseР’В might not seem a natural match at first pass, thereРІР‚в„ўs a certain cosmic logic to their collaboration. Both popped up around the turn of the new year, with little context, providing aesthetics and sounds that (particularly in the case of London Grammar) grabbed attention.

Luckily, the maximalist orchestral pop of Kids provides a refreshingly epic, exciting new context for vocals of London GrammarРІР‚в„ўs Hannah Reid. The still-mysterious Kids cut and weave ReidРІР‚в„ўs soaring vocals over booming brass and thunderous drums reminiscent ofР’В Woodkid. A powerful and unexpected combination.
