The video came out yesterday and it already has been discussed by critics.
We are used to be surprised by everything signed by Kanye, and this video didn’t let us down. But the crowd still is not convinced.
‎
K released the video an year and a half after the release of the album, and also after the release of single tracks of his new G.O.O.D. Music project and another solo track. So, why that?
‎
For the sleek, black-and-white video, which primarily depicts intercut scenes of K and dancing models in stretchy white outfits, West collaborated with SHOWStudio.com.
‎
Basically it’s alla bout strobe lights, big cities and fast women.
We assume that there has been an abuse of the green back and speeded up scenes, that puts models and kanye over a mirror floor and clouds.
Massive editing to render the scenes of the buildings in split screen and then speeded up.
‎
I find the beginning of the video pretty remarkable: the world lost is traduced in every several languages and they follow one another in a quick sequence.
‎
The whole video is confusing, and I suppose that was what didn’t convince the audience, extreme close up frames, overlapping scenes, speeded up scenes gave the feeling of anxiety that does not suit a music video.
‎
Nonetheless everyone is ready to state that K is one of the most innovating artist of the contemporary times, and even the critics hide a sort of respect towards him that leave the door a bit open, in order to retract the version whenever this video will be understood.
