The poligonal-based shapes of everything is shown in this video is the feature that gives to it a plasticity and a dimension that goes beyond the 2d animation of the amazingly designed illustrations.
Then the focusing and the perfectly placed scenography of the parts into the various natural landscapes complete the creation of the atmosphere.
It’s a journey into the memory of this mysterious lonely man that shows us his adventure through snowstorms, into the belly of the whale (a citation tribute to Collodi?), deep down in the abyss and then up carried by an eagle toward a desert land populated by animals, these last are the protagonist of Jónsi’s album We Bought a Zoo, which the Sigur Rós singer realized as a soundtrack to Cameron Crowe’s namesake film.
