Director Ninian Doff and artist Graham Coxon teamed up with a really nice concept: on february 2nd 2012, the english singer posted on his own Youtube channel a video asking his fans to send him some clips where they are moving, dancing and walking.

The result it’s a really funny mashup of different body parts acting like one person only. In less than a month the director packed the video of What’ll It Take, built with contributions from 85 fans from 22 different countries. The result is crazy, a remix of movies, a ramshackle collage of characters. Lo-fi, handmade, pixelated, an explosion of cut & paste techniques. In the end we have also some 3D animations were we can see big numbs made by video parts wafting in the sky.

Ninian’s first video for Pulse was for Graham Coxon’s debut single from his latest album A+E ‘What’ll It Take’. The video was incredibly successful and gained great attention internationally, being shown in Montreal’s Museum of Contemporary Art, broadcast on Canal + L’Oeil de Links show in France and featured in lDN, a Hong Kong based design magazine.
