Just enjoyed worldwide fame thanks to their latest hits, We are young and Some Night. Just released the brand new video for the latest single, Carry on. Wanna Play Daily has published one of these successes, We are young and now has decided to present the videoclip of a track taken from their debut studio album.

They are FUN. and this is Walking the dog, from their album Aim and Ignite.
Director Skinny perfectly caught the spirit of this band in its beginning, creative and dynamic, and transformed Nate, Andrew and Jack into a bunch of colored amusing little guys.

How, you ask? Here you can find the making of video! You could easily see the use of a green screen and projection.
All geometric and optical effects have been applied in post production. Everything recalls a 60′s pop style, Skinny applied collage technique, he cut and recomposed the scenes adding kaleidoscopic effects and used masks to create something like “Gestalt games” with figures. Other effects such as overlappings, brakings and repetitions was used. The most important elements of this video are short cut and colors: they both create a dynamic and hypnotizing effect, especially in the first part.

This is what Nate (the frontman of the band) said about the videoclip just a few days before its release: «We filmed it last week and it should be crazy. I’m not going to watch it because I’ve never seen one of our videos. I can’t look at myself without going into deep depression. If it’s like anything we shot, it should be really cool. The video was shot on a set in Los Angeles, but I guess the only thing I can really give away is that we are each painted in different colors, head to toe».
