If not Florence, then who?

Lady Welch returns to enchant the music scene with a pop ballad about loneliness, paranoia and melancholy feelings.
Directly inspired by the Sixties, this clip seems to be a tribute to Instagram (God forbid). Instead it is the video diary of the american tour of the band earlier this year.
Directed by Tabitha Denholm (on tumbrl), who has previously worked with the band on videos like “Never Let Me Go” and “Cosmic Love“, this work is fascinating for the simple images and linear editing, shooting was done through the lens of a Super8 camera. Vintage effect guaranteed.
Florence is beautiful like a Diva, with round glasses and stylish swimsuit. Not a hair out of place, playing tennis, swimming, hitchhiking.
Absolument impeccable et très chic, Miss Welch is “all alone” in the Indie scene.
It’s been a busy year for her, but her efforts have been rewarded: she’s the Queen of the stage.
