The Dutch band De Jeugd Van Tegenwoordig asked to Lernert & Sander to create a music video for their song Elektrotechnique and that is the result. Original and captivating. A classy design and video photography for a still tricky topic.

Lernert & Sander are two dutch artists and friends. The famous Chocolate Bunny was their first video. Since then they’ve been working on commercials, leaders, art movies, documentaries and installations.
As they say in their website, their aim is “to make simple and communicative works, that takes little note of the existing border between contemporary art and commercial projects. Their highly esthetic, humorous and dedicated works are often challenging the media and its viewer, in a simple but very effective way.”

The video’s players are nothing but household items, daily used. But…what if everyday was different? What if their function becomes more than that for which they were created? Exploit objects’ movements and a lot of imagination, the two artists build a series of sex machines.

Is with this videoclip that Lernert & Sander won Dutch Design Award 2011, as Best Motion Design.
“The pair’s latest – jovially explicit – creation is probably the best thing we’ve seen this year.” (Esquire, February 2011)
“Time to get the Marigolds out – chores have never looked so fun.” (Shots.net, February 2011)

“Get inspired!” they say, to make your mornings glorious we suggest.
