Here we are again with Coldplay!
We have written about them other three times, the first was for Strawberry Swing, then was the time of Every Teardrop is a Waterfall, after that we published The Scientist and now we propose Trouble.

This video was not actually the first one that came out for this song, but the second version, came out in 2001.
This new version is directed by Tim Hope, a self taught animator/director who works for Passion. He also created a video for the son “My Culture” by “One Giant Leap ft Robbie Williams and Max Jazz”.

This new version shows the band as two-dimensional cut-outs, cruises along a forest aboard a horse carriage. On top of a mountain, a woman is watering plants inside a house. A crow flies from the carriage up to the house, where it transforms into a menacing bird that flies over the house and turns into a black cloud, which pours rain onto the land. The rain burns holes on the things it falls into, and crow feathers protrude from the holes. Finally a tornado grabs the house and placing it in a more suburban setting.

As in all the videos he made, he uses unique textured style. Using 3D studio max, Hope adds film and animation, creating an interesting visual effect. For Trouble, Hope has filmed the band in front of a green screen and created animations for the background.

Delicate details and meticulous attention make the video a well done work, perfectly combined with this beautiful song. Thank you Coldplay and thank you Hope!!
