A song title never fitted a video so well. If Magritte lived in our times I think he’d probably do something like this.

It’s really hard to put it down in words, I suggest to watch it to get what I mean, I’m sure you’ll immediately understand; this is one of those cases in which images are much more effective than words.

The long, camera shot is stunning, it gives you the impression of going further and further, deeper and deeper into this onirical world and it’s amazing how naturally you find yourself at the beginning (and I garantee you’ll hit play over and over againd, consuming that button).

Photography, lighting, post production techniques and music work together in a really smooth way to create this powerful vision, and there are some interesting technical experiments too (i’m thinking about the reversed dock shot and window one in which the contrast between the still woman at the window and fast moving people outside is just disorientating).

The only thing I don’t like too much about this clip is how scenes are put together. Sometimes they seems a little bit forced together but it’s really a small defect in an otherwise perfect video.
