In the previous month BenZel released two videos of their first theme “If you love Me” with the special participation of Jessie Ware. The original version of this theme belongs to a group of soul and R&B called Brownstone.

First I will focus myself in the artists. Jessie Ware is a British artist who has gained notoriety over the past two years. Now, BenZel are a very young duo, formed by Umi Takahashi and Yoko Watanabe, 15 and 16 years old, from Osaka. It is interesting to note that BenZel is a very recent project. The duo met up after both travel to NY, throught their exchange program and after an online message, earlier this year, realizing that they had much in common.

As I said before, this theme has two videos: the first version directed by Kate Moross and the second by Haley Wollens. Today I will speak only of the first video released in November this year.
This colorful video behaves like a mutant rainbow. Images moves like watercolor when come into contact with water, fluid forms will be developing naturally, always in harmony with the beat. It has a magical and organic side and other perfect and pure, like a metaphysical diamond. A trippy video with a melancholic tone that spreads beauty and is timeless.
The character stands out from the background, always in contrast and never achieve it. Is someone who can’t find a course in love but feeding hope for having fear of loneliness. The water filters in the character and background expand the theme’s nostalgia.
We dipped into a smooth dimension.
One of the parts that fascinates me most is when the profile of the interpreter wheel slightly and you can see the eyelashes in the silhouette. So simple and so beautiful.

This video is a heart murmur.
