“What if i just can’t find my way back home…”

Most times the way to reach the door is more important than what you’ll find behind that door, that is the person that will destroy your life or just a box full of empty questions… but that way lets us grow up, and continually pushes you to reach that door, giving you the strenght to open it.

Kris Moyes is far more interested in his own way. He doesn’t care about the doors someone puts in front of him.
He has his way: “For Bag Raiders, the lyricist is searching for his way to a lost love. For me, I decided to make it about losing one’s way in the universe and needing to find a way back home through a portal…”

Moyes doesn’t want to tell a story, he doesn’t want to have characters or a usual plot, no. He wants the videoclip to have a sort of spark that twinkles upon all we can see in the video: people, objects, walls, air and fire…a sort of spark that Moyes wants to set on fire…
…and the video becomes a marriage between the improvvisation of Happening art (with its own nonlinear narrative) and the harmony/chaos of Drift painting by Jackson Pollock, who said “I have no fear of making changes, destroying the image, etc., because the painting has a life of its own”…
…so Moyes paints the video, with monochromatic or coloured brushes, he overlaps his action art on motion picture, but at the same time, his strokes interact with what happening in the frames.

Everything seems a dance that gives power to the way, for reaching the portal.
